Hi 6F and 6L, we would like to wish you the very best of luck tomorrow at Noadswood. You will have a fabulous time. We look forward to hearing all about it on Monday, or Saturday if you are at the rehearsals.

To all those who took part in the parade today, Mr Wright and myself are so incredibly proud of you all. You were a credit to yourself and your school. So many members of the public commented on your behaviour and dedication. Well done!

A big thank you to Miss Lawford and Mr C from 6F. We had a great session at the outdoor classroom and thoroughly enjoyed performing our drama activities to the class. What a lovely place to sit. We could hear the wind blowing, the birds singing, and the happy sounds of contented children. Rounders tomorrow!

Wow! We all had great fun pond dipping today. We found tadpoles, fishes, snails frogs, pond-skaters, water louse, worms, newts and water boatmen. We never knew so much life existed in our school pond!
Jay and Chloe managed to lose their net and the best efforts of Rachel and Rachel weren’t enough to find it – thankfully Lewis managed to catch it in his net.
We finished the afternoon by the pond listening to The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe having enjoyed our task on it yesterday so much.
Thanks again Miss Lawford for the fun activities!

Year 3 were so excited to see the frogs in the pond. They have now seen them at every stage so to see one jump on Lauren’s foot yesterday was great! The children even took a photograph. We had fun watching the clouds and making a sound trail around the school. We also found a cure for hayfever once we sat in the sensory garden! They are desperately waiting to paint them pebbles and go out today to play games on the playground.
Have fun!

A big thankyou to all of the teachers and children for making the start of school grounds week such a success. It has been fantastic seeing everyone out in the grounds completing treasure hunts, doing drama, playing rounders, writing poetry and lots more. I’m really excited about tomorrow now!
Just some quick reminders: please remember to get all entries for naming the sensory garden to me by Thursdsay morning and keep bringing in dontations for stalls at the Garden Party. There are lots of raffle tickets to be collected!
Enjoy the rest of the week.

4T have had an excellent afternoon in their school grounds!
We have enjoyed spending time in the fresh air searching for mini-beasts and acting out parts of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ in our new outdoor classroom – we will all be ready for the leading role in the end of year production in a couple of years time!
Thanks to Miss Lawford for her assembly telling us all about the week, we’ve had fun today and are looking forward to the rest of the week!

Good morning cast!
Just a reminder to make sure you have permission to stay behind after school for the rehearsals. A signed note in your homework diary will be fine (George, remember to bring your diary into school!).
Remember it is also School Grounds Week, so don’t forget to make sure you have sorted out your activities for Thursday – remember you planned them last week!
See you tomorrow.
